CrossFTP client and server is installed as Java cache in your system, hence if you want to clear CrossFTP in the cache, you can choose either approach 1 or approach 2, by following these guides:

  • Approach 1:

Open your Java management console's Cache Browser by clicking on http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/javawebstart/apps/player.jnlp Use this cache browser to browse the cached files, and remove CrossFTP from the list.

Attention: For the CrossFTP Server , please make sure you have unchecked the "Start Automatically after System Login" before your unstallation. Otherwise, when you restart the system, the system will popup the warning that states "the machine can't find the program".
  • Approach 2: Or you can use the CrossFTP by your system's normal program manager. Follow the instructions below accroding to your operating systems:
  • Windows Users:
You should be able to find the uninstall/remove program item in the control panel's Add/Remove Program list. Click to remove the CrossFTP. For CrossFTP Server, if you checked the "Start Automatically after System Login" on server's main frame, please uncheck it before your uninstall.

Attention: For the CrossFTP Server , please make sure you have unchecked the "Start Automatically after System Login" before your unstallation. Otherwise, when you restart the system, the system will popup the warning that states "the machine can't find the program".

  • All other system, including windows as well:
Please open the Java Web Start's control pane,  choose to view the Java Web Start cache. In Java 1.6,  this is located at General -> Temporary Internet Files -> View.... After that, select the CrossFTP application item, and choose to remove the application.
Or you can show this Java Web Start control pane by command line:
    javaws -viewer
