Cannot set Max Logins to 0 (Unlimited)

Postby PXX » Wed Jan 13, 2010 9:16 pm

Using UBUNTU SERVER 9.10 x86 edition. Installed CrossFTP and can connect. However, I need to change my Max Login to 0 (UNLIMITED). When I make this change, I get an error stating "The Max Login field should be bigger than zero!"

How can i set this setting to unlimited? I'm wondering if I should just place a big number in the field? New at Ubuntu and so far I'm loving it!

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Thanks for the question. We will check on this issue. You can set the Max Login to a large number to temporarily address this issue.

Great! Thanks for checking into it. Apparently, I can't put a number higher than 2147483647. And believe it or not, I'm still told that I've reached my maximum amount of logins. This usually takes me about 5 minutes to get the message. :D
