problem with JVM_Bind

Postby Turiko » Mon Feb 16, 2009 5:47 pm

Whenever i try to use crossftp, i get some error that JVM_Bind failed. This started happenign afteri changed the server's IP. It worked fine before, but now that the bind error keeps appearing, i can't use the server and the configuration button doesn't work. I've tried to reinstall both java and crossftp, hoping the settings would be deleted, but no luck.

You can refer to this item in the knowledge base to reset the server's configuration. Thanks.

Thanks, that has helped in getting the FTP server to run... but now it's an unsecured FTP, and i still can't open the configuration screen. When i do, the cmd screen shows a lot of exceptions, all about unknown source.

Can you reset the configuration files, and then try the server's configure button. If it cannot work, please paste the error codes on your console, and we will try to assist you with the problem. Thanks.

I didn't know hwo to delete the configuration fiels, so i just deleted everything in the folder you gave me, and reinstalled. I still have the same problem. I think my version is a bit outdated, but when trying the new version i didn't know where to actually do the settings :P

Are you using CrossFTP Server v1.11 (Help -> About)? If not, please try to update to the latest v1.11.

The latest version should be available at CrossFTP Server's home page http://www.crossftp.com/crossftpserver.htm.
You can download the latest client and server's combination package at http://www.crossftp.com/crossftp-all-bin.zip
After running the latest version, please paste the errors if they still exist. Thanks.
